Uses:

• Your doctor will tell you how much medicine to use and how often. Do not use more medicine or use it more often than your doctor tells you to.
• This medicine works best if taken on an empty stomach 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals. If stomach upset occurs, take it with food or milk.

• Take the missed dose as soon as you remember unless it is less than 4 until your next usual dose.
• If it is less than 4 hours until your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your medicine at the usual time.
• You should not use two doses at the same time.

Storage:

• Store at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light.
• Keep all medicine out of the reach of children.

Special precautions:

• Make sure your doctor knows if you are also using Anturane®, Ticlid®, or blood thinners such as aspirin or Coumadin®.
• If your doctor has told you to take aspirin with this medicine, take ONLY the amount of aspirin prescribed.

Warnings:

• Check with your doctor before using this medicine if you have low blood pressure or chest pain.
• Talk with your doctor before using this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Stand up slowly from a sitting or lying position to decrease dizziness.

Side Effects:

• Chest pain
• Skin rash, severe itching or hives
• Yellowing of skin or eyes
• Dizziness, lightheadedness, headache
• Nausea, vomiting, or stomach upset
• Flushing (redness) in the face
